Taking this a step further, United Way of Greater Nashua just held a Community Baby Shower for families to find essential items and explore community resources. What a cool idea! With shovels, rakes and wheelbarrows in hand, our volunteers got to work cleaning out 30 garden beds at Chrysalis Center, Inc. yesterday. Now filled with new soil, the beds are ready for residents to plant 🍅 🥕 🥬 and 🌼 🌷🌻 #EarthWeek #EarthMonth #VolunteerAppreciationWeek

It’s 🌎 Day! We spent time connecting with students at University of Connecticut’s #EarthDay Spring Fling recently and encouraged them to apply for the second Clean Energy and Sustainability Innovation Program. Getting ready for a field trip! Children, college students, and senior volunteers with Connecticut College’s Intergenerational Play and Learning course will visit Mashantucket Pequot Museum and Research Center in May to learn more about Native American history. We’re always excited to support educational opportunities.

Congrats to our own Chris Hayward on his #Boston128 finish! A certified arborist, Chris ran for the Esplanade Association. With the support of family, friends, and his Eversource colleagues, Chris crushed his fundraising goal—raising $13,063 to help care for the iconic park.
