Great food and friendly service. The occasional line to get in is a clue to pick up on.

Pit-stop along the way on our journey to Boston. Another Yelp success search led us here.

Extensive menu for all meals, clearly this is an area hangout. We arrived at breakfast time and it was pretty crowded. Our order was delivered promptly and it was delicious.

Fun atmosphere and we were very ably served by Christina.

Service was OK The quality of food is not as good for us. The price that you pay my wife had an Italian. There was no very little bit to other places that are packed for the same price and I had a turkey dinner. Turkey wasn't enough for the amount of money that they charge, it's a shame they used to be very good

I write this review as I dine (posted after so service doesn't decline even more) but I came in with a group of 7 which I understand is large but for the host or manager or whatever he was to actually roll his eyes and seem visibly annoyed that we were there was crazy.... he proceeded to seat us very quickly with no problem so I wonder where the inconvenience fell. A member of my party then asked where the bathroom was and this same menu still visibly annoyed goes "where the signs at boss" like just a horrible first impression and I wouldn't return based off that alone.
our server is friendly and helpful, and now that i am complete with my meal I can say it was good but on my last piece of toast I realized a dark circle on a portion of it and the bread tasted like pumpernickel so I hunk I ate mold. At this point I'm never returning and will be letting people know of my experiences.

Better than most diner food, more of a hybrid restaurant/diner. Full bar service with decent atmosphere that accents the local Middlebury history. Service is typically prompt and professional. Clean and comfortable. A regular stop for us, breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Nice diner/restaurant feel. Friendly service. Lots of choices. Food was good. Nothing spectacular but good portions. French onion soup good. Cheeseburger and onion rings ok, needed additional seasoning. But that's ok. Good family place.

I've heard of this place but never been. A great place to bring the family. Lots of choices for food with large portions to fill anyones appetite. The have great selections, the food tasted delicious. The staff was super friendly. Even with a packed house the food came out fast and they did not disappoint.

I can see why people love this place. They also have a section for banquets so it's perfect for large parties and large events. I would recommend coming back here again. I can this being a must visit while being in Connecticut for a home style restaurant.

Great Big Breakfast to go Liver Onion With Eggs Home fries extra crispy with Rye to Go got me through the Day. Great Price Portion and Taste. Waitresses and Owner/ Cooks, are Lovely and Treat Everyone like Friends.

Here again snd I have to say we will NOT be back.
Service was so bad it wasn't funny. Ordered a burger well it came rare husband order breakfast had to ask for butter for the pancakes had to ask twice for milk for coffee and napkins.
The place was not busy at all. You have been warned!

I not big on maples rest. But I have to give credit where credit is due. I went there tonight and had liver with bacon and onions. It was excellent all were cooked just the way I requested. I have not had liver and onions in years.
I will definitely return for this meal.
