John G. Famiglietti Owner / Broker
John G. Famiglietti is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with nearly three decades of experience in Connecticut and the surrounding region. A native of Wolcott, John is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a B.A. in Geography and Urban Studies, along with a minor in Music.
Prior to entering real estate, he successfully owned and operated a catering business for 18 years, serving the local community with distinction. John began his real estate career in 1995 and has since built a reputation for excellence across all aspects of commercial real estate, including retail, office, and industrial properties. He has represented both national and regional tenants—such as Advance Auto, 7-Eleven, West Marine, Burger King, and Hood—helping them identify and secure prime locations throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts; John is licensed in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
Prior to reopening Commercial Connection John worked for 18 years with Drubner Industrials / Commercial and served as a partner for 12 years after the name change. Prior to that, he was the managing partner of Commercial Connection, a firm specializing in retail and commercial properties statewide. His background also includes tenure at New England Retail Properties and Tom Hill Realty. Highly engaged in civic and professional circles, John is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Waterbury Regional Chamber, Public Policy and Main Street Waterbury for 20 years —where he chaired the Economic Vitality Committee and was named Volunteer of the Year multiple times. He also volunteers in the Naugatuck Duck Race, the Main Street Beer Fest and Jazz Fest. In recognition of his contributions, John received the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige Volunteer Award in 2012. Outside of work, John lives in Middlebury with his wife Pam and has been a resident for over 38 years. A dedicated community member and lifelong musician, he is a trustee at The Community Chapel and a member of Gideon’s International. John often volunteers as a trumpeter at Veterans Day programs, community events, and holiday celebrations in local nursing homes. John also plays the Harmonica, he has sat in with several bands and once got on stage in Nashville.
