Franciscan Home Care was founded in 1974 by Sister Marcia Ternes, F.S.E., as requests for personal care in the home came from elderly. On July 11, 1985, Franciscan Home Care was licensed by the State Department of Public Health to provide homemaker-home health aide services. As clients needed more services, the agency was impelled to expand its service areas. Franciscan Home Care and Hospice Care is committed to providing the highest quality care while making every effort to meet the spiritual, emotional and psychological needs of each person served. The agency is centered in the intrinsic value of each human being and is guided by the values of the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist and the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. The staff strives to help the patient and family find meaning and value in the face of human suffering. Franciscan Ever There Care Your Home ~ Your Needs ~ Our Mission Franciscan Ever There Care (ETC), an affiliate of Franciscan Home Care and Hospice Care, provides services to individuals and families who need assistance to remain safe and secure at home. On April 29, 1987, Franciscan Home Care was licensed by the State Department of Public Health as a home health care agency.
